This Privacy Policy explains how CoreParcel ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use our website and shipping platform (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email address, company name, password and billing details.
  • Shipment information: sender and recipient names, addresses, phone numbers, package details and customs information you provide to create labels.
  • Payment information: your card or bank details are collected and stored by our payment processor, not by CoreParcel. We retain only a record of the transaction (amount, date and last four digits) needed to maintain your prepaid balance and billing history.
  • Usage information: pages visited, links clicked, referring URL, device and browser type, and IP address.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: small files stored in your browser to keep you signed in, remember preferences and understand how the Service is used. You can block cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly without them.

How we use information

  • To provide rates, create labels and track shipments.
  • To process payments and manage your prepaid balance.
  • To respond to support requests and send service notices.
  • To detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse and prohibited shipments.
  • To improve and secure the platform.

How we share information

We share shipment details with the carriers you choose so they can deliver your parcels, and with service providers who help us run the platform, such as payment processors, cloud hosting and customer support tools. These providers may only use your information to perform services for us. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect the rights and safety of CoreParcel, our users or the public, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

Data retention

We keep account and shipment records for as long as your account is active, and afterwards for as long as needed to meet legal, tax, accounting and fraud-prevention obligations. Shipment and billing records are typically retained for up to 7 years to satisfy these requirements. You can ask us to delete information that we are not required to keep — see "Your choices" below.

Data security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to limit access to it to staff and providers who need it to operate the Service.

International transfers

CoreParcel connects you with carriers around the world, so your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards to protect information transferred internationally.

Your choices

  • You can update your account information at any time from your dashboard.
  • You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • You may request that we correct inaccurate information or delete your account, subject to the retention needs described above.
  • You can opt out of non-essential marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any such email.

California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion or correction, and to opt out of its "sale" or "sharing" — we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. You may also designate an authorised agent to submit requests on your behalf.

European and UK privacy rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on the basis of performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, and compliance with legal obligations. You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your data, to object to certain processing, and to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children's privacy

The Service is intended for business and individual shippers aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and we will delete any such information if we become aware of it.

Third-party links

The Service may link to carrier websites and other third-party tools. This Privacy Policy does not cover those sites, and we encourage you to review their own privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are significant, we will notify you by email or through the platform, and update the "Last updated" date above.
